Motoring to Fowey

Neil O'Connor

Fowey Harbour

Tuesday 15th was sunny with light winds that meant that we motored Fowey leaving at ten and arriving at two. On the way we got a message from our friend Dave and Jen that they were in Fowey on a pontoon and that we could raft up to their boat Magic Mood. What's more Jen said she would cook supper for us: how's that for a welcome!

On the Wednesday we went for a walk around Gribbin Head and on to Polkerris and back to Fowey. It was a lovely day with an abundance of wild flowers around. One thing we have noticed on this trip is the smell of wild garlic in some of the woods.
