Falken had messaged that they had moored up in Mevagissey Harbour. Emboldened by their scouting out the harbour we decided to join them. We left at 0900 and had a gentle sail before the wind died completely forcing us to motor. Within the harbour there is a line of buoys that you moor fore and aft to. We had no problem picking up the forward buoy, but were grateful for Mike from Falken's assistance in attaching the rear buoy.

Shadow in Mevagissey
We had a lovely couple of days in Meva. The town was heaving during the day but quietened down in the evening. It was great being in the middle of a typical Cornish fishing harbour; although most of the boats going in and out were trip boats.
On the second day we did a delightful walk along the coast to Goran haven and back via inland footpaths.
